Before transitioning into sign shop consulting, I spent over a decade working in my own sign shop. I’ve been through it all—sales, design, fabrication, wholesale, installation, service—you name it, I’ve done it. As a former sign shop owner, I understand how overwhelming it can be to manage day-to-day operations while struggling to find time to refine and scale the business.
I know the challenges firsthand. After 10 years of building my shop, I decided to focus on growth and successfully scaled my operation using franchising before selling it to a major national brand. What is my 4-step model?
This model stems from my many years in franchise consulting and consists of 4 segments that make up a series of KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) for your sign shop to follow.
Each week we will review 1 segment of the model, and provide you with a stop light (Red, Yellow, Green) dashboard to show you how you're performing in certain areas. Each segment of the model connects to the next while also providing compelling data that can tell us when it's time to get to work... or when it's time to celebrate!

THE CEO DASHBOARD
While other consulting companies offer up advice and opinions, my model quantifies what success looks like for your shop and provides it to you on an easy-to-read dashboard called the CEO Dashboard. This dashboard puts all the data you need right in front of you.
